Playing with intense pencils and black pen in my art-journal. I see there is some color bleeding through from the page on the back, but hey, it's an art-journal, so it doesn't have to be perfect
"Who dares to get lost Find new ways' -Erasmus- (I think this might be my first little landscape ever, and it emerged by coincidence.... This was a testing page for colors and one of the color shapes looked like a rock, so I added some more details and changed some colors...and there was my little landscape) 'Wie durft te verdwalen
A little example of how I work in my art-journal: what I saw on a city-trip..and what I draw :) Inspiration is everywhere! Inspiratie is overal! I made this art-journal page with inktense pencils. The bottom is inspired by a painting that I saw on pinterest (shop.tangyauhoong.com) and the top is inspired by a little dance that I saw on the television.

Art journaling and mixed-media-art are for me a creative way to relax.
It's a place ( in contrast to everyday life), where I don't overthink everything and it doesn't have to be perfect. I just start to draw, play with different materials, write something and then see what's happening. It’s a wonderful flow! It's a Colourful Day! Archives
